 Washington: As promised Biden removed Muslim Ban after the moment taking charge as 46 presidents of the USA. Biden believes in diversity and pluralism and inclusiveness. He has given importance to all the issues which were less important during the Trump era and harmed the inclusiveness of the USA. With powerful domestic support, he can alter the political approach and policies of the USA around the world. The most challenging issue would be for him to bring peace between Arab Israel and its neighborhood because Trump has caused immense harm to this region by taking the side of Israel and let the Palestinians suffer in their hard time. With Iran, the matters have worsened to the level where their chief of armed forces was killed by the USA. Moreover, the Obama era peace deal was also unilaterally shattered on his whims. That's why Biden has to undo the stupidities of trump and re start the statesmanship again.

President Hassan Rouhani greeted the Biden victory with guarded optimism, saying the US now had an opportunity to “compensate for its previous mistakes”. Regarding the Palestine issue, the Trump White House jettisoned all pretense of impartiality by recognizing occupied Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, as well as recognizing Tel Aviv’s illegal occupation of Syria’s Golan Heights. Mr. Biden is also deeply pro-Israel but has said he wants to open channels with the Palestinians, channels that the Arab side closed after Mr. Trump’s Jerusalem stunt.

Mr. Biden has said on the campaign trail that he would “raise the issue of Kashmir” with India. The months ahead will show if this promise will be met. Of course, Pakistan also greeted Biden and wanted to work with the USA on regional, and international issues. And making the region a better place without anyone hegemony and undue power show. American foreign policy establishment is going to remain on the same page, the status quo will be maintained to a great extend. It should be remembered that Barack Obama had said all the right things during his 2009 speech in Cairo addressed to the Muslim world. However, it was under Mr. Obama’s watch that wars involving the US in Syria, Libya, and Yemen were launched. Joe Biden will therefore have to demonstrate that the American establishment has learned lessons from these misadventures, and wants to engage the Muslim world with respect for sovereignty and the popular will within these states. 

COVID-19 death toll hits 1,332,100, cases cross 55 million worldwide

WASHINGTON:Despite the implementation of strict restrictions, the countries all over the world are facing continuous spike in COVID-19 related cases and deaths.

The number of coronavirus cases recorded worldwide has crossed 55 million (55,345,421), according to John Hopkins and AFP tally while the deadly virus claimed 1,332,100 lives worldwide so far and 38,490,104 patients have been recuperated.

The number of people infected with corona in the US, the world's hardest-hit country has risen to 11,538,057 and the total number of deaths has reached 252,651. 

India, the second hardest-hit country reported 8,874,172 cases with 130,559 deaths.

Brazil is the third worst-hit country by the coronavirus, with 5,876,740 patients and 166,067 deaths.

In Russia, 1,948,603 people have been infected by Corona while the total death toll rose to 33,489.

South Africa, the fifth highest number of infections in the world, after the US, Brazil, India and Russia.

The death toll from Coronavirus in South Africa has risen nearly 20,300, with 752,269 people affected.

In Peru, the death tally has jumped to 35,271, with 938,268 infections.

On the other hand, Mexico reported 1,009,396 cases so far with 98,861 fatalities.

The coronavirus has infected more than 532,604 people in Chile and left 14,863 dead.

Number of cases in Spain has climbed to 1,521,899 with 41,253 deaths.

In UK, the virus infections reached 1,390,681 and death toll rose to 52,147.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has jumped to 775,121 and 41,979 have been died. (04)

Donald Trump skips ASEAN summit for 3rd time

HANOI: The United States President Donald Trump skipped the ASEAN's virtual summit for third time in a row on Saturday. 

According to National security adviser Robert O'Brien, Donald Trump regretted he was unable to attend the online summit with the 10-members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations but stressed the importance of ties with the region. 

At the opening ceremony, which was livestreamed to ASEAN members watching from their respective countries, O'Brien said "At this time of global crisis, the US-ASEAN strategic partnership has become even more important as we work together to combat the coronavirus." 

It is pertinent to mention here that, Trump participated the ASEAN summit in 2017, but sent only representatives during the last two sessions and a special summit with ASEAN that he was supposed to host in Las Vegas in March was called off on account of coronavirus pandemic. 

Currently, Trump is busy with challenging the results of the presidential election won by Joe Biden, insisting he was the victim of election rigging while most countries have acknowledged the victory of Joe Biden. (04)

Rape victims are now going to be dealt gracefully without naming and shaming and blaming the rape victim. He said the ordinance had been drafted in line with the prime minister’s directives to his legal team for preparing the law covering “four sides”, including protection of the victim so that her personal trauma could not become public and protection of witnesses.

Mr Awan said under the proposed law rape cases would not be investigated by ordinary police officials and only a gazzeted officer up to the level of DIG (deputy inspector general) or SSP (senior superintendent of police) would monitor these cases. He said the proposed law also suggested steps for speedy disposal of cases. 

Syrian FM Walid al-Muallem passes away at79

 SYRIA: Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem passed away at the age of 79.

Confirming the death of the Syrian foreign minister, the media said that there were no details on the cause of the death of 79-year-old Walid al-Muallem, although he had been suffering from a heart problems for many years due to which his health was deteriorating.

According to the report, Al-Muallem was first appointed foreign minister in 2006 After which he continued to serve in this ministry for a long time and also held the post of deputy prime minister of Syria.

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem was considered close to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and he was a strong supporter of the Syrian president's policies. 

According to the media, the Syrian government says that the name of the new foreign minister is being considered after the death of Walid al-Muallem. For this, his deputy and highly experienced diplomat Faisal Mekdad is likely to be appoint the foreign minister. 

The government said in a statement that Walid al-Muallem was a patriotic personality and would be buried in Damascus.

The late Walid al-Muallem, Syria's foreign minister for 14 years, was a former diplomat and also served as Syria's ambassador to the United States for nine years in the 1990s. (04)

Not age or beauty but things are different. Without beating the bush, let's be very precise, the number 1 quality is the confidence, but without being rude, she must be a diva in her opinion, educated and badass and intelligent, not overconfidence, she should wear her confidence like her favorite old shirt. you have to wear them comfortably and everywhere. But she must  not like proving a point at the cost of everything, don't end up becoming rude and sluggish. This looks desperate.  Number two is warmth nurturing and kindness. 

Women that have warmth and nurturing are attractive and alluring. People around them will get the feeling like it is safe to share secrets and the dark side of one's personality. One can share his life, dreams, and fears without being judged. But one must have strong boundaries. One should not overcompensate, over sweet, this will seem needy and look like she is feeling insecure. Being too nice does not mean warm and nurturing, she must have very strong, firm boundaries and her own point of view on things must be there. Kindness can not be ranked lower. It gives a sense of security to both sexes. 

The rest is having emotional intelligence. This is something that can be learned, one person is born with IQ and will die with that. An emotionally balanced person takes the rights decision at the right time. This is termed as EQ. This is directly linked with success. This skill can be learned with practice.Moreover,  Inspiring and inspired is the quality one can have to make her the best person. Don't get bored with the stuff the other person is talking. I truly believe these qualities will make him a better man. Women can not fix  man's behavior but she can help him improve. These traits will validate his reason for being, appreciate him, thank him properly, little tiny things matter the most for both Genders.
